Formerly Authentic Catholicism–when changing our name, 8 year old Simon asked what we had changed our name to. “Concrete Life,” I responded. “Oh,” he answered. “What does that mean to you?” I asked, curious as to how well he grasped its meaning. “It means you are solid in God’s faith and you will never move away from God.” So there you have it.

Out of the mouths of babes!
Right? Simon can be particularly precocious. He’s the type of kid who will pick non-fiction over fiction when checking out books at the library. We transfered everyone to public school this year, and his one complaint was that he misses religion class.
